New reporting system coming: we want your input

Late last year, the Australian Government announced that the Workplace Gender Equality Agency would be allocated funds for the re-development of our data reporting system to improve the reporting process.

This was very welcome news as we know the frustrations encountered by many reporting organisations with the current system. It is often slow and difficult to use.  As we begin the process of designing a new system we want to hear from you!

We are currently in the process of contacting reporting organisations to understand your experience of the current system and what you might hope to see from the re-developed system.

We would really welcome your thoughts and so invite you to complete our survey which is designed to give us a broad understanding of your needs as a key user. The survey should take you no more than five minutes and will be open for two weeks from today to 15 March 2019.

The work that employers do to collect and then report on the gender equality indicators is so important. It allows the Agency, policy makers and organisations to drive real change in gender equality in workplaces across the country. That is why your contribution to the re-development of our new system is vital.

We want to know what you would like to see in our new online system – what works well and what does not?

What makes the old system hard to navigate? What could the new system have that would make reporting easier?

There is a long road ahead and we want all reporting organisations to be a part of the journey so that we can build a system that works for the people who use it.

It is an exciting time for the Agency as we embark on this project and we look forward to working with you to ensure the new system is more user friendly and better suits your needs.
