Applications are now open for Australia’s leading gender equality citation.
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation recognises employers who are implementing leading practice gender equality initiatives proven to drive change.
- leadership, accountability and focus
- learning and development
- gender pay gap

- employee consultation
- preventing sex-based harassment and discrimination
- targets for improving gender equality outcomes.
In 2017-18, a record 120 organisations received the EOCGE citation, diverse in size and industry.
The citation provides public recognition of an organisation’s commitment to improving gender equality.
“CEOs and employers tell me that the EOCGE citation means such a lot to them. It provides a roadmap to better gender equality outcomes, which we know leads to better business performance,” says Libby Lyons, Director of WGEA.
Applications for the WGEA EOCGE citation are now open and close on 30 September. See what it means to these organisations to receive the EOCGE citation:
