Senior Partnerships Adviser
A reminder to all employers who still have to submit their reports to the WGEA, there is only one week remaining in the 2018 report submission period, with all reports due by Thursday 31 May 2018.
So far, over half of the organisations have started their reports. With that in mind, here are three important things for employers to remember as the rush to finalise reports begins:
1. Reporting resources available The Agency has a range of reporting resources available to help you complete and submit your report. Visit the report section of the WGEA website for more information.
2. Double check your figures in the workplace profile. A common data error the Agency sees is employers forgetting to convert their data into annualised and full-time equivalent figures. Both base and total remuneration need to be annualised (as if the employee had worked the full 12 months) and converted to full-time equivalent (as if the employee had worked full-time hours).
3. Do not forget to press ‘submit’. After employers have done all the hard work to complete their report, some forget to press the final ‘submit’ button! Reminder: once submitted, an employer has 28 days to edit the report.
