Can your organisation cover the cost of a conference ticket to support women’s and children’s safety?
Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) is holding its National Research Conference on Violence against Women and Children in Sydney from the 15 to 17 May 2018 and is seeking corporate support to enable individuals making a significant contribution to the sector to attend the event.
The conference is an opportunity for practitioners, policy-makers and researchers to share their knowledge and advice on policy development and improved service responses, in relation to violence against women and children. The conference also provides networking and peer-support opportunities for delegates working in locations across Australia.
Many people at the frontline in the violence against women field are working in regional and remote communities with little or no funding. Corporate sponsorship will allow those individuals most in need of peer-support and professional development to attend the conference and provide greater assistance to the women and children in need in their areas.
ANROWS is aiming to provide a total of 30 delegates with a sponsored ticket and is appealing to Australian organisations to provide sponsorship in return for an organisation’s name and logo to be featured at the conference and social events.
