Using the Data Explorer
The Employer Data Explorer has information on 6 Gender Equality Indicators (GEIs): gender pay gaps, workforce composition, board composition, access to parental leave, flexible working arrangements, employee consultation, and actions to prevent and respond to sexual harassment.
To view Commonwealth public sector data, use the dashboard filters and set Sector = Public. You can view the overall public sector results or filter to an individual employer.
Use the ‘Compare Data’ to compare employers side by side and download data for further analysis.
Can’t find an employer?
Some employers may not appear in the Data Explorer.
WGEA collects and publishes data for private and the Commonwealth public sector employers with 100 or more employees.
An employer may not have lodged a report and may be non-compliant under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. View the list of employers named as non-compliant.
Data is published under an employer's legal name and ABN. If you only know the business or trading name, use the Australian Business Register (ABR) to find the employer's legal name or ABN.
