The Ministerial Statement of Expectation is issued to provide greater clarity about government’s policies and objectives relevant to the regulator in line with its statutory objectives, and the priorities the Minister expects it to observe in conducting its operations.
The Minister for Women, the Hon Katy Gallagher, issued the following Statement of Expectations to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).
Following the issuing of the Statement, WGEA produces a Statement of Intent, which outlines the Workplace Gender Equality Agency's response to the Statement of Expectations issued by Senator the Hon Katy Gallagher, Minister for Women on 23 July 2025.
