AS COVID-19 continues to cause disruption in many workplaces, the Agency has decided to delay the start and extend the report submission period for 2020 to assist employers who may need some additional time to prepare and submit compliance reports.
Your 2019-20 compliance report is now due for submission between 1 May 2020 and 31 July 2020.
Although the official start date for the reporting period has been delayed, the Agency’s reporting system will be ready to accept report submissions from 1 April 2020, if that suits your organisation.
Depending on how the current situation is impacting your business, here are a few steps that your report contact could take now to streamline the submission of your report.
- Login to the portal before 1 April to ensure their myGovID is functioning and all contact details are correct. Visit the myGovID website for assistance with myGovID issues.
- Generate the reporting questionnaire in April.
- Submit your report(s) well ahead of the 31 July submission deadline to avoid congestion in the portal.
