CPB Contractors has created a specialist tool to help it become a more gender equal workplace.
CPB Contractors EGM People and Culture Sarah O'Neill says the company is committed to progressing gender equality.
She says gender segregation within the male-dominated industry is a big challenge, and to respond CPB Contractors has developed a tool so it can better understand and respond to its data.
It stems from a comprehensive gender pay gap analysis the company did.
"We thought, what can we do to actually elevate this issue and create awareness in our leaders at all levels," Ms O'Neill says.
"What we found was actually building a pay gap tool that actually shows them where they are sitting from a pay gap perspective, we are able to make decisions on hiring, on promotions, by using a live tool that then shows us what the impact would be on the gender pay gap."
