Leaders in gender equality: we want to hear from you

Is your organisation leading the way in workplace gender equality? Or have you recently developed a successful program, initiative, policy or strategy that has made a difference to your organisation? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

The Agency is looking to connect with employers who have established leading practice gender equality initiatives to tell us why they did it, how they did it, what resources you had/didn’t have/needed, and what you wish you had known when you started.

These initiatives can be anything related to gender equality, but some examples could be:

  • Parental leave – have you recently developed a parental leave policy?

  • Workplace flexibility - have you remodeled what flexibility looks like at your workplace? Has this been influenced by the pandemic?

  • Women in leadership – Have you improved the gender balance in your leadership teams?

  • Addressing pay equity – Have you taken action on pay gaps in your organisation?

  • Setting targets – Have you set targets for men’s engagement in flexible work or parental leave? Or women in leadership positons?

  • Recruitment and promotion – Have you established policies or strategies to ensure your recruitment is gender equitable?

We want to hear your stories so we can help other organisations embarking on their journey to workplace gender equality. We want real insights from professionals who built these programs from the ground up and can give advice on how others can do the same.

We are looking to develop case studies with organisations who are leading the way in gender equality. If your organisation has recently established a new initiative, program, policy or strategy for gender equality, we want to hear from you!
